Winter does not seem shorter....not this year, anyway! hmm

Join the clan - time is slipping by fast.

BUT - the only consolation is that the winter seems shorter and summer comes around quicker (and fades quicker!).

Ah well - we must just go with the flow.

You are all right - especially Grannysmile

Could it be that it takes us a bit longer to do things so by the end of the day we haven't done as much as we hoped and thus time seems to have passed very quickly?

I agree with the last two posts. #mademoresensethanmine

And the weather doesn't help. It feels as though it's not even spring yet, never mind nearly summer....confused

I always think it is to do with proportionality. When you are 4 a year is a quarter of your life, at 40 it is 2.5% and at 80 it is 1.25 %. Any period of our life is proportional to the time we have been living.

I know exactly what you mean.

Is n' t it supposed to be that, life is like a piece of string. When you start out along it it seems to go more slowly because you haven't travelled far, and there is still a lot of string to go. Whereas, when you get a lot a bit further along the string, time goes by quicker because comparison kicks in?

I don't think that helps in the least little bit. hmm

How did we get to almost the start of June?

Am I being unreasonable to think something strange must be happening to the laws of physics, and time has become elastic?
The only other alternative is that my granny was correct in stating that time slides by faster "when you get old".
That is not an acceptable deduction
I am not that old yet!!
Am I?!?!?
Are any of us?

I would have backed granny in a straight fight with Einstein on any day (and especially on a Sunday) so was she right and there now just so many centenarians in the UK that they are exerting a wave effect, and the time spin is affecting everyone.

Honestly folks .... this has me worried. Weeks are sliding by at such speed that I am missing sending birthday cards because my inner workings tell me that it cannot be anywhere close to 'oojumiflips' birthday, yet!
A work trip that I had simply ages to plan, is now next week, and all that planning time has just ......sped by as though it were days.

So am I being very unreasonable? .... or is this really just what happens once you get past ...errm....."mid-life"
