Feeling a bit like a new girl joining a club.

Do you have a special place to start off newbies.?

Gorki I also slunked? in about last April when I was still a granny to be and got hooked. I wasn't quite sure then, that I could join before I was a real one. I became a real Nanna in late September.
I don't think we had such a good introductions thread then. Just enjoy.

Welcome to the newcomers.

Wellcome Dee I went to school in Lichfield. It was the all girls boarding school called the friary. We lived in a house called Westgate on the other side of the road from the bottom of the cathedral close.

Welcome Dee. Hope you enjoy the occasional madness and frequent helpfulness and empathy that is Gransnet.

Hello newgran1. Pleased to meet you - and it's true what harrigran says! Once you get on here, it's hard to get off again! I keep telling myself, "just one more wee look, then I'll go and do something else", but it doesn't always work! wink

harrigran Thu 14-Mar-13 15:58:10

Welcome newgran1 I hope you have plenty of spare time because once you are on here it is difficult to get off again smile

Hi newgran and welcome. Nice to see your name is blue to show your profile, and that you have a very young baby in your family - congratulations! We have a 6 week old grandson who is stealing our hearts more and more each day. Look forward to chatting to you smile

Ana Thu 14-Mar-13 12:18:47

No - I understood that you were a first-time gran, newgran, don't worry! I hope you'll enjoy it on here, but as others have said, it can eat up whole chunks of your day....grin

newgran1 Thu 14-Mar-13 12:15:46

newgran1 Thu 14-Mar-13 12:11:58

Grandmanorm Thu 14-Mar-13 12:03:06

Welcome all, there should be a bit of a warning as this site can become very addictive and time can just disappear.
It is great and lots of opinions expressed here.

Gorki Thu 14-Mar-13 12:01:32

Welcome to all new Gransnetters. It is very addictive !!

Ana Thu 14-Mar-13 11:56:17

Welcome, newgran1! smile

I'm a little puzzled though - how is it possible that being a gran is new to your mum, if you are also one? confused
