Feeling a bit like a new girl joining a club.

Do you have a special place to start off newbies.?

Racism of that ilk will not be tolerated - I am the only expat here on MY mountain (ooops no OH too- he is British but was born in SA, does that count) ... now I've had a British passport since 1973. Now I had to swear allegiance to the Queen in front of a Royal Commissioner for Oaths - did you? So there ... smile

Greatnan Wed 10-Apr-13 19:42:17

Granjura, you are an imposter - you are a Swiss living in Switzerland, so you are not the expat on the mountain!

granjura Wed 10-Apr-13 17:35:34

Hi friendsusan, and welcome. I live abroad in the mountains too btw.
Bienvenue smile

Welcome Alex!

Hi alex I have searched and found that a poster who lives at Canvey is called specialmo she is probably the one.

If you go to your inbox (a button up near the top of the page, next to "Log out" you can send her a private message. Just do "New Message" and put "specialmo" into the "to" box and it will get to her.

Greatnan, members will not be able to read the remarks you refer to they have been deleted.Their was a misunderstanding, probably my fault,I was not aware that you were the only expat to live up a mountain,I still don't know if that is a fact.In any event I apologise to you personally, must be careful to make my generalisations more general.

Greatnan Tue 09-Apr-13 23:46:13

A warm welcome to all new members, from the expat who lives in the mountains. grin Please don't be put off by Deserving's remarks, there are no cliques and most of us are very nice.

Got a little bored NSWaverly, must admit their a lot of better things to do.
Had another look after hearing the controversy associated with "mums net' wondered if it had in someway affected, or infected, Grans Net. Still don,t know because have not perused much yet.
Must admit Waverley, I don,t remember you?
Thats not saying much and is no reflection on you, more on my memory. From the little I,ve seen and am likely to see, some of the "clique" seem to be missing. I do hope they didn't lose interest when the thought they had lost their whipping person? I don't think they liked my humour, but analysing humour is like dissecting a frog, few are interested and the frog dies.Forgive me if I don't attribute, I got fed up of doing that as well.
