New update on my reclusive neighbours.....

Alie, your family must be in turmoil and it's so hard to stay strong for all of them when you yourself are immeasurably sad.

I am now having to go to and fro to Oxford and try and help family members....myself I find that grief comes and goes, yesterday was not too bad, today has not started off well but I think when I talk to people again I may feel better.

A sudden death is always devastating, bewildering and unbelievable. I am thinking of you as our family experienced the sudden death of a young member 2 years ago. You have to be there for each other. X

Alie sudden death is such a shock, it comes out of the blue and leaves us feeling 'this can't be happening'. Don't let anyone tell you how you should be feeling, we all deal with grief in different ways.

You will find your own way through this, somehow, but it will be a long journey. Your friends on GN will be here for you I know ((((hugs))))

Alie, I am struggling to find the words to express my sorrow at your sad loss but send you all my sympathy and condolences. You have been in my thoughts since hearing of your loss yesterday and I just wanted to say how very very much I am feeling for you and Jayne's partner and children.

I am only half convinced she is gone, even though I have seen her. I find I don't know what to do with myself.

It's absolute devastation for the family. In some ways she was at the centre of it. She leaves 3 grown children, one of 14 and a baby of six months. Her partner is completely stunned. They were very much in love.

She had a very rare kidney condition called Gitelmans which I have only just discovered, online, can cause sudden death because it can affect the heart. I think the doctors are only just finding this out too.
