I had forgotten that he was still alive.

Looking back over his career, from his first, pivotal role
of ‘Boo’ Radley, in To Kill a Mockingbird
when he was already 30,
via The Godfather,
Second Hand Lions,
Apocalypse Now, uttering his immortal line,
to cowboy films, Lonesome Dove,
what a prolific and versatile actor he was

I loved him in The Godfather, the first film that imho was the best by far, sequels were nowhere near as good. Also in To Kill a Mocking bird.

I hadn't heard from him for a while. Again like some other famous stars he'd reached quite an age. I remember him mainly from Godfather 1, the man who had Marlon Brando's ear in that pivotal role. Godfathers 1 and 2 will always remain amongst my favourite films.

Great actor didn't seem at all full of himself like some actors. Loved him insecondhand lio s and the judge opposite Robert Downey Jr who played his son.one of the greats so few left now.

Top class actor. Very versatile..They don't make them like that anymore.
Lived until a great old age as well.
