RIP Major Hot-lips Houlihan

Loretta Swit, who played Maj. Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan on all 11 seasons of M.A.S.H, has died at her home in New York City at age 87.

Another fan here. Also saw the film in Oxford, in a cinema full of students. The film wasn’t as good as the TV series but the audience reaction made up for that. Happy memories.

Very sad, she was amazing in MASH, as were all the cast. A few years ago I rediscovered the whole series on one of the TV channels and it was like meeting up with old friends. I think it is still available on Amazon or Netflix but you probably have to buy it.

Wonderful series, all human life was there!😄 So well written and acted by everyone involved.Funny and moving at times too.Loved Colonel Potter and Hawkeye and Radar.
