Found this series set in Australia. I'm loving it. Something a bit different, set in the late 40's early 50's. They are testing the atom bomb, plenty of intrigue, great characters and a few laughs.
True British stiff upper lip by the government officials and the usual establishment skull duggery!!!😊

Ooh, thanks, will check it out. I love anything Australian and a period drama even better. 😍

If you haven't seen it The Newsreader is Australian and set in the 1980s. I absolutely loved it and am looking forward to the next series which is due soon. I think it's still on BBC iPlayer.

Thank you for that recommendation. I have just finished it and I loved it. This must go down as one of the best things I have seen in a long time.
