Vera finished again till next year!!

A new series of Liar coming up, and trailer for Flesh and Blood looks good.

New series of Endeavour next Sunday!

Have just watched and throughly enjoyed tonight’s Vera, does anyone know where the cafe and beach are featured, would love to sit and have a coffee admiring that wonderful view!

I've never been in, but I've been on the beach.

The rock in the sea used to have an arch but it was washed away by the sea during a storm some years ago.

I haven’t watched it yet, but will watch it on catch up tomorrow. Very much looking forward to the next season of endeavour, which is one is Liar? I feel like I watched it but forgotten the plot?

Liar is the one with Anna from Downton Abbey, (Joanna Froggatt) who was drugged and raped by creepy boyfriend, he had done it before, but he seemed to be getting away with it, making out she was unstable, then he was dead on a beach I think at the end of last series. Might have remembered some of this incorrectly, but that’s the gist.

I haven’t been to Marsden Grotto for years.
There used to be a pub/restaurant at the base of the cliffs, set into the cliff face. I remember the walls in the ladies loos were the rock face, painted pink.
That must have been the early 1960’s.

I love seeing the familiar places on Vera. Although we moved to London 40+ years ago, the North East still feels like home

It’s wonderful scenery, beautiful but bleak, I love it .

I think Brenda Blethyn is doing a new comedy series soon, that will be interesting.

There will be a new Vera book later this year . To my mind far better than the story lines for the TV ones now.
