Anyone watching? Well dud he ?

OldMeg Tue 15-May-18 07:21:06

Can’t wait for tonight’s ...gripping.

kittylester Tue 15-May-18 07:29:47

Have recorded it but I refuse to believe Lee Ingleby could do anything bad!

merlotgran Tue 15-May-18 08:25:40

It's very similar to Liar and looks like it was filmed in the same location.

Looking forward to the next episode.

ninathenana Tue 15-May-18 08:31:05

Do we know the location merlot ?

At first I was thinking Norfolk but I could be hundreds of miles out smile Lee did say on The One Show that some scenes were shot near Dublin.
I have it on series record as it clashes with Split tonight.
Too soon to form an opinion I think.

tanith Tue 15-May-18 10:06:00

Will watch on catch up, some of it was also filmed on Hayling Island and some in Hampshire.

silverlining48 Tue 15-May-18 10:15:29

I thought it was norfolk too. Enjoyed and will follow this week.

NanTheWiser Tue 15-May-18 12:55:16

It's Bosham harbour (Hampshire) which is a favourite artists' location (the only reason I know!)
I shall continue to watch, and hope the plot doesn't become too complex, which puts me off a lot of thrillers!
The sister, Alice, is coming across as rather obsessional...

sodapop Tue 15-May-18 13:09:11

I enjoyed it as well, Lee Ingleby played the character well I thought. I really enjoyed George Gently where he played Martin Shaw's sidekick.

BlueBelle Tue 15-May-18 13:18:55

I m not at all into Split I don’t even like any of the characters so I know which I ll be watching might finish split off on iPad but it’s nit getting me at all

petra Tue 15-May-18 22:01:08

Very heavy hint tonight as to who could be the killer.

petra Tue 15-May-18 22:02:44

I meant to add, it was a bit obvious.

storynanny Tue 15-May-18 22:18:31

The cafe where Jack met his dad tonight, the blue painted one on the sea front was, I think, Mozerella Joes on Southsea seafront.
A butterfly knot, hmmmm, I think it was Hermione husband! But then again it could be a complete red herring.

storynanny Tue 15-May-18 22:19:55

I’m glad it is on night after night, just hope there is a “proper” ending! Easier to keep up with than once a week.

BlueBelle Tue 15-May-18 22:21:04

That women calling them ‘my children’ made my blood boil

seacliff Tue 15-May-18 22:54:31

It's really good. Great to have it on every night, and not have to wait a week between episodes. Did Alice do it, and husband helped "tidy up" after. That's probably too obvious.

storynanny Tue 15-May-18 23:15:38

Or maybe his friends 1st wife when she found out about the affair?

eazybee Wed 16-May-18 09:45:01

I think the children were involved, hence the 'can't remember anything about mum and dad'.
Adults covered up, murder weapon never found.
On the other hand, father's instant violence is rather troubling.

seacliff Wed 16-May-18 22:09:20

Oh I've just watched penultimate episode. Wow! I'm really enjoying this. Don't want to spoil it for anyone.

callgirl1 Wed 16-May-18 22:13:14

I haven`t seen tonight`s episode as yet, but so far I really don`t like the main character, he doesn`t generate sympathy from me, but I can`t decide yet whether he did it or not.

BlueBelle Wed 16-May-18 22:15:29

I m with you storynanny I think it’s the friend Toms ex wife who found out and killed her I think Alice is now too obvious
I m so enjoying this one after the disappointment of Nicola Walker in Split

ninathenana Thu 17-May-18 00:03:31

seacliff I think your right. Too obvious to be Alice aided by husband. Although she did say something to the girl about her sister being the bain of her life (not exact words)
Yes BlueBelle "my children" gggrrrrrrr !
easybee the girl would only have been about five. I'm guessing you've not seen tonight's episode ?

OldMeg Thu 17-May-18 07:03:07

I’ve also got Tom’s exwife in the frame, or even his brother. Then against perhaps he really did do it and the dodgy detective’s gut feeling was right all along.

TwiceAsNice Thu 17-May-18 07:31:33

I haven't watched last night's episode yet but watched the first two back to back as I am recording them. It's brilliant I love it, I do confess to a soft spot for Hermione Norris I think she's suc,h a good actress whatever she plays. DD2 and I are watching Split and we seem to be in the minority as we are really enjoying it.

TwiceAsNice Thu 17-May-18 07:33:18

Also girl is only 12 now 5 year olds don't have a lot of past memory especially they might block out trauma
