Hidden Figures -a feel good film

I saw it at the cinema when it came out and thought it was very good. I was shocked at how these women truly had been "hidden" when in fact they had made a massive contribution to the US Space Program.
Why didn't we know about them when, as women, we were desperate for great role models! And, for me, great black women role models is even better!

And I'm sorry it's a "down" day. No advice, just sympathy from someone who has been where you are now

I was so impressed by this film which I saw a few months ago. A revelation to me as to most other people. These amazingly determined women should have been held up as role models to all young women of the intervening generations.

Thanks for the recommendation, I've recorded it. I love a feel good film.
