All is Lost

I watched the DVD All is Lost (Robert Redford is the only character) the other day. I loved the film. But was he rescued or was this just the imaginings of his final moments? Has anyone seen it and what is your view?

Eloethan I watched it a while ago and (from memory) I took it that he was hallucinating at the end of the film, in other words, he wasn't saved. I quite like "solitary-themed" films.

I sort of feared that Grannyknot but it seemed such a bleak way for the film to end that I was trying to convince myself otherwise.

It was one of those films where the viewer is left to make up their own minds, so go ahead and convince yourself smile. I agree the alternative is bleak.
