Anyone watching Big Brother this year? Any thoughts about what has been happening?
How should a family manage an estranged relationship?
Why on earth would anyone plant.....
Only 50% of middle age adult manage more than 1 brisk 10 min walk a month.
Anyone watching Big Brother this year? Any thoughts about what has been happening?
I didnt watch the first week but am watching it now.
My thoughts. First week, bits I saw, boring. Same old same old. Plus putting some of the ones that had been in previously, I didnt like.
But when the 3 newbies came in, everything changed.
I am glad that some of the ones that have gone, have gone. So it is getting better now.
How long do you want me to post for??
I have to admit it is my guilty pleasure most years but this year maybe they have run out of celebs to part take with them bringing back old contestants ??
Kim reminds me of a nosey neighbour and the girls are all much the same to look at all big hair and eyelashes,Callum is once again the gentleman and not getting involved so pretty boring really.I do feel the language is cutting and over the top not attractive at all.
I notice that when something has gone slightly wrong for Callum, he will suddenly show his bottom going into the shower, or share a bed for the night with a woman.
I dont think the others realise that he is just as much a game player as lots of the others.
Dislike Jamie and Nicola. She is a a bully/ringleader of a lot if nastiness going on, and he is cocky and nasty to people he thinks are weaker.
Loving James Cosmo and I think it was a good move on his part to nominate Speidi ad we will see the real Pratt coming out in Spencer.
Nicola - it took me a while to see it.
Perhaps she was edited well, or perhaps I just failed to spot it.
Jamie - missed that too! Though I hadnt know what to make of him.
What will Bianca make of him now that he did not chooose her?
JamesC - loving him too. I keep meaning to look him up as to who he is.
Is he a game player? I dont now.
[I am realising I am missing quite a bit, perhaps because I didnt see the first week].
And I have missed the cocky and nasty bits too
Speide - I didnt see them the first time they were in, so wasnt sure what to expect.
I sort of could see that they were hiding all sorts about themselves.
I am a bit amazed how they agree with each other so much. And that they dont act as individals much at all. Though I guess that is their way when they are working. They are like glue.
Last night for the first time I thought I must see what this is all about. Totally confused. Grown ups shouting, throwing tantrums, screaming and crying, all peppered by bad language one word in particular in fact. There would be no dialogue at all with out it. The men competing for the most tattooed body struggling to put a sentence together, is I take it a requirement for the programme, except for tweedkedum and tweedledee dressing up in pizza boxes, at one time they would be in a secure environment. Dread to think of the minds of the person/people that put on this programme they are taking the mickey.
I like the middle of a series best.
The first part mean they are trying to impress each other, and may take their clothes off.
The last part, which is what has started now, is when a lot of them are fed up with each other so hence more shouting, plus most or everyone knows who will vote for who.
In the middle part, there is more a case of, who is forming groups with who, who may do a showmance[in this one it seems Bianca and Jamie, I can do without the showmances myself], there may be some trying to "play the game" [and often failing as they guess wrong, in this one Speidi] and some fun.
Personally I prefer the ordinary Big Brother.
I still tend not to watch the first week or two, and get fed up and miss some of the end episodes.
There are some episodes that are fun, but they can get few and far between.
There are always some who want to leave the house[in this series James Cwho was given immunity to the end so he is forced to stay in!, and now Nicola I think, who messed up her "game".]
But if they walk out of the house, they dont get their pay-check, which at a guess is likely to be at least £50k. So they mostly stick it out. Especially after they have already done a few weeks.
It is indeed rather a strange "game".
And in the case of celebrities, they seem to have or nearly have run out of British celebrities willing to "play" it. Who can blame them?
So who is going to win?
1st - JamesC
2nd - Jedward?
I havent seen polls or whatever on this. And polls are not that accurate anyway.
1ST James C
2nd Collen
1. James C.
2. Colleen
Please not Kim or Jedward!
Jedward or Kim, they have played the game and livened things up.
1.James C
2.Jedward
Please not Colleen as we will never hear the end of her crowing on "Loose Women"
I was so surprised to loose Callum.
I too was surprised to see Calum go, but suspect it was because he had an outburst shown on the day of the vote.
I have been watching 'In Therapy - Calum Best' from last night on Channel 5, and found it very moving. He has had a lot to cope with as the son of George Best
.
Oh wow i thought James C would be winner , surely it will be Collen, now just hope whatever happens she will be able to sort her marriage when she gets home.
Wrong winner, Coleen just has a big fan base with loose women. Would have like to see Jedward win.
I was shocked to see what Jedwards age is !! not sure how much is for the camera, but if they are like that in "real life" they need help
Shocked James C didn't win last night, between Jedward & Coleen I was expecting JW to win, jacksmum their mum must have been traumatised when they where living at home if that is their normal behaviour.
I heard it said that Jedward took in 75 jackets! I found them very irritating. James C should have won.
So glad Coleen won! REALLY didn't want Kim to win - I thought she was awful. Jedward awful too. I liked Callum BUT not when he used the "C" word - I was so shocked!!
Well done Coleen - looking forward to seeing her on Loose Women on Monday. And Jane Macdonald too - what a treat.
