We were trying to escape the Olympics and found Crowdie and cream on Alba. It does have subtitles and is a real treat. Worth a watch on catchup.

Good glad you enjoyed it. I did too I posted last week that it was enjoyable. It it not only the story, scenery but it brings back how times have changed, for the better mostly but that we have lost that connection to the land and the seasons. Have you seen the one with the school teacher? Also when they found the oranges on the beach they were probably from a convoy ship that had been sunk.

Woodbines can't remember whether the pack was 5 or 10 but you could buy single ones loosies, misspent youth now a reformed character.

Surely the oranges were a farewell gift from the recently dead father to his little daughter, or am I being too woow! smile

I have been watching that too and really enjoying it. I found it on my iPad BBC I player.
Found hinterland on there a few months ago, that's a Welsh police story very gripping

Yes I thought that about the oranges. Weep.

Also love Hinterland, very dark.
