Classic FM advertisements

I just love listening to Classic FM especially to John Sucket but after his 9 to 12 slot you start getting these terrible adds. I especially hate the Maureen 1182 one trying to persuade us to use this service which will cost a fortune plus the terrible Maureen laughing at a customer. I would pay to listen add free .Theyt say adds have to be truthful but the Toyota add says every day that they have just realised that the GB team will miss out on thier special offer . How can they just discover this every day ?

I always feel slightly frustrated that CfM does not vet the ads a bit - in the middle of a beautiful symphony you suddenly find some stupid irritating jingle. Advertisers should have some ground rules about fitting in to the context of a classical music station.

I hate the voices they use when the ads are aimed at or include older people, always very thin and wobbly and suggesting old = vulnerable.

We are on holiday and have been listening to Classic in the car everyday. Yesterday we could stand the ads no longer and tuned in to Radio 3.
