Hotel or Self Catering Recommendations please

Hubby will be 70 next year and I am thinking of a nice hotel stay for us and our small family, so 6 adults and 4 teenagers. I would love some recommendations please around 80 mile radius of South Yorkshire, thank you

Somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales, one of the little villages with a pub. Fantastic walking country, or just take it easy. Something for everyone.

Not stayed in this property myself but it sleeps 10 and has plenty of facilities. Pickering is a lovely small town, with the North Yorkshire Railway terminating at Whitby, so moors and coast are easily accessible.
