Photos on iPad

There is an edit button, fine for cropping photos or enhancing them. But no option to rotate! Look on apple site and I lose the will to live with all the steps you have to take.
Please is there an easy way to flip my pics?

Are you using Iphoto? If so click on the crop function and there’s a rotate arrow on the bottom left hand side.

Oh I never saw that before!! Thank you so much, I have been tearing my hair out trying to sort it out. Whew!

On my iPad, I select the photo, tap 'Edit’, then on the black background to the photo, to the left of the screen, tap the second icon down (the ‘crop and rotate' symbol). On the top left of the screen, a white square appears with a direction arrow around the top. If you tap that the photo turns 90 degrees each time. Don't forget to select 'Done' (right next to the same symbol) when you are happy with it.
