Running

Sounds impressive. My youngest daughter runs which amazes me as when she was at school she was always begging me for notes to excuse her from sports. Now she cant get enough of it and regularly runs half marathons. She says she only did 9K yesterday as she didn't have much time having climbed a small mountain in Wales on Saturday. Her ambition is to get a place in the London Marathon - she did Manchester this year. I do not run - it makes everything jiggle about.

Yes my DD runs almost daily. However, I am like you SUE my BITS jiggle about!

Hi both. I was like your daughter at school sue until I turned 40 and a switch flicked in my head and I decided time to get off the couch - I took up running and at first could not run around the block, but within the first year was running 10 kms at under 60 minutes (on a good day, mostly at around 60 minutes!).

I loved running, ran for many years, furthest I ever did was a half marathon. I think I now have "muscle memory" because although I no longer run, I can outwalk most people once I get into the zone. I still have "running dreams".

As for jiggly bits, that what sports bras are for!

sports bras don't help your bum stay still though.
