italics

It's really a bit pathetic that putting things in italics is so clunky on Gransnet.

(as in skunk cabbage/^Lysichiton americanus^, recently listed as an invasive weed)

That's what I was trying to do in this comment on the Word Association thread. I forgot these clunky ^^ wotsits need spaces around them to work.

Emojis have been simplified. How about simplifying italicising, bolding and underlining? The current system on Gransnet is positively antediluvian!
