One of my cats (ironically, NOT the nervous one) was startled by my grandson tonight and leapt for the stair bannister and missed, hurtling down the stairs and not landing on her feet. It is a large drop.
I ordered grandson into his room and rushed down to find her, where she was obviously very shocked. After 5 minutes, she was begging for food as usual and seems completely fine now. I've felt her all over, with no protests from her.
Do I need to take her to the vet? I'm going to let her sleep upstairs tonight (usually they have to sleep downstairs to stop them waking us up).
