The biopsy results have come back clear!! So lovely to get some good news for a change. She's such a smashing little dog and has recovered from her operation with no side effects thanks to a brilliant vet surgeon - we were warned about possible fecal incontinence.
Here's to many more years of chasing rabbits, digging holes in the borders 
and sneaking into our bed when we're asleep. 
Thank goodness for that. And also pleased about the [lack of] fecal incontinence, especially after watching an episode of The In Betweeners last night [I won't elaborate 
].
She has finally been signed off by the vet. First time since April. Thank goodness for insurance as what with the Pyometra in the middle of it all we'd have had a mighty big bill! 
Actually, there was some fecal incontinence during the first week while she was recovering from the op. Little 'nuggets' dropped around the house as she obviously didn't have any feeling or control. She would stare at them with a kind of 'Ooops, have I just done that?' look on her face.
I got into the habit of walking around staring at the floor all the time like a soldier looking for IEDs. It was necessary for me to be the first one to visit the loo every morning to do a 'sweep' before a partially sighted DH blundered around in his bare feet
Millie's bottom seems to be functioning normally now so I'm looking forward to my morning 
in bed tomorrow.
