He certainly looks ready for the next step in his life. It will be interesting to see.

Good luck to the laddie. With his parents he should be absolutely fine.

A good looking and confident young man. 'Happy Birthday Prince George' cupcake

I am happy to share my birthday with such a handsome young lad 🎂

Happy Birthday, Prince George and GG13 🎈🎂

I was amazed to see how tall he is now. A very handsome young man.

It's hard to believe so much time has gone by since we were awaiting his birth.
I remembered a poem I wrote about Prince Charles (as he was then) looking forward to becoming a grandfather and musing about joining us - so I've dug it out.
Remember the days of Nellie and Pete?

I'm thinking of joining Gransnet,
I hear they're a wonderful bunch,
They love a good healthy discussion
And some of them meet up for lunch.

They offer support when it's needed
So I think I might give it a whirl,
I'll tell them I'd love a dear grandchild
And this time I hope it's a girl!

A few of them talk of their gardens,
Or knitting and baking a cake,
I think I'll invite them to Highgrove,
They might like to fish/jump in the lake!

I love a robust bit of banter,
But lately I don't get a chance,
If Camilla's 'gorn orf' for a canter,
I have to make do with my plants.

I'm betting Lil's Bar could be funny,
I'd love to pop in for a gin,
Of course I don't ever have money,
Please could Nellie or Pete get one in?

Was it really so long ago?

There was a nice picture of Camilla the other day to mark her birthday.

Surprised it didn’t get a mention here on GN, if it did, I missed it.

Lovely picture. He's a good looking lad.
I can see a look of a young Prince Edward.

Bukkie Wed 22-Jul-26 15:44:54

I always think William and Edward look alike. As for Charlotte, she is the late Queen's double.

It is a lovely photograph but I wish he wasn't already in the public eye and allowed a normal an upbringing as possible

paddyann54 Wed 22-Jul-26 16:51:44

I wish you all stopped worshipping this boy and spent the millions his family get from the public purse on the 13 year old s living in temporary accommodation and getting fed from food banks.
Honestly these parasites make me sick.
As do all the brainwashed royalists who STILL believe they are a special breed despite all the evidence to the contrary!

GrannyGravy13 Wed 22-Jul-26 16:59:13

paddyann54 are you against anyone with money nor is just the Windsors?

Aveline Wed 22-Jul-26 17:19:07

Och she's just being paddyann54. Mix of chip on shoulder and Irish republicanism displaced to Scottish separatism.

Shelflife Wed 22-Jul-26 18:58:34

Good point GrannyGravy!
Paddyann54?

Oreo Wed 22-Jul-26 19:10:12

He looks quite old for just 13 doesn’t he? Going to be a very good looking man one day.

Good fun poem merlotgran 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

rafichagran Wed 22-Jul-26 19:25:30

My Grandson is 13. I am grateful he is happy and can live his teemage years away from the public gaze, and scrutiny, unlike George whose life is very public.

I don't understand Paddyanne coming on this thread and calling the Royal family parasites. Its not nessasary. I would not like their life.

A very good looking boy,

MollyNew Wed 22-Jul-26 20:04:36

How funny it would be if he turned into Harry Enfield's Kevin the Teenager! William wouldn't know what had hit him grin
