Of course it was, Oreo. No one wants to oppress First Nations people but there was a lot of mistrust of the government’s motives and it was more of a vote against them than what it is made out to be. Interesting that, despite what they said, many First Nations people actually were strongly opposed to it. I’m talking about the ones who live outside the cities, not the loud politically minded ones who tend to control the vast amounts of money donated ( which never reaches those who most need it )
