Now we have the scandal of illegal parties and sexual offences then lies about 40 new hospitals, 50,000 new nurses 40,000 new doctors. ...oh and the bus advertising the 350 million per day per week, who cares, ( I care! but it didn’t happen) to be saved by leaving the EU....I could go on but what is the point. However many broken promises people will still vote Tory.

Not me but then I never have. Except once over 40 years ago when a woman was in the running. My bad, but I was younger and keen on women’s rights. Still am, it’s a pity she wasn’t.

It depends on who the local candidates are. I'm not voting for someone useless just to get a different party in power - I shall decide depending on who will do the best job for the local area. If they're all useless then I shall have to change my criteria!

I get that in Council elections Septimia, but the national government is that which effects your life the most. Surely which party is in overall party is crucial.

No. Sadly I live in a Tory area full of swivel eyed pro Brexiteers and their tweedy wives. But you never know, pigs might fly and Labour or LibDems might get in.

Not necessarily, Stella. Our current Tory MP is doing a lot for the area. The last, Labour, one didn't. Previous Labour ones did, though. People, not party. And council elections shouldn't have anything to do with political parties but everything to do with what's best for the area. Both affect my life.

I did vote Green in the last local election. The guy lives local and so I sort of knew he would make a good councilor. Sadly the tories still got in.

If a GE was called tomorrow I would spoil the ballot.

Yes, why not vote for a party that's decimating the NHS and throwing away billions of tax payers money while raising taxes, all because of one, niche issue that party doesn't really even care about.
