Luciana Berger wore a lovely maternity dress not a dress stretched over her tummy with navel sticking out, this isn’t going with the flow

I think wha professional women choose to wear is arely what you might call “latest fashion”
As it happens I thought they all looked great- good colours, smart business dress.

PS why should “mature ladies need to keep their hip area under cover”?
We all have hips and they were not “uncovered

I don't care what they wear, only what comes out of their mouths. Although some might say Jezza really knows how to rock the "anorak" That's pretentious fashion talk, to indicate he wears it with panache! Of course an anorak is ideal if you are going to get down and dirty. At the allotment of course, not metaphorically

Oh dear, surly policies are more important and standing up for what you believe in. Thought JC is looking particularly dapper, cleaned up his act to go to Brussels. He obviously thinks he has a cat in hell chance.

I judge them on their actions and politics as I do the men.

Whilst, obviously, what politicians do and say is the most important thing, does no one else think how they look has a bearing on how they are perceived?

I wouldn't have a lot of faith in someone who was unkempt as I think that would show a lack of awareness of how the world operates nowadays.

Kittylester you are of course correct we are all judged on how we present ourselves to the outside world.

Just that I think at this moment in political time we should be more concerned in MPs actions and accomplishments than the length of women’s jackets.

I'm not a fan of short jackets but I notice TM is and they don't suit her at all ! Nor do her " ankle-grazer " trousers. Yes she's tall and slim but not the right shape for either I'm afraid.
Longer skirts too wouldn't go amiss to shorten her " not so good " legs as they would look more dressy. She's no chicken to be wearing above the knee skirts anyway. Okay if you've got a decent pair of pins I suppose but not in her case.
What she wears must cost a fortune so she may as well get it right.

Actually, I think the OP has a point, and I don’t think short jackets suit T May, even though she is tall, slim (and elegant in much of what she wears.) I always think her jackets would look much better six inches longer.

Didn’t notice what Soubry was wearing, but her facial expression always looks scary to me, as if she’s going to punch someone imminently.

And her skirt on occasions Lemon!!!! I'm also glad to see the plunging neckline has been abandoned, at least in working hours! I don't disapprove, but I felt they were a bit of a diversion! Can't imagine either on Mrs T!!

I agree about A. Soubry.! I find her quite scary!!!! T.M is probably fairly glad to see the back of her!

I saw Mrs. Soubry on the Andrew Marr Show some months ago, wearing a tight black lacy top with what appeared to be a fleecy top, tracksuit trousers with a stripe, and scarlet pixie boots. Her hair was bright blonde, her eyes heavily outlined, and she wore far too much red lipstick. She looked like a fugitive from the previous night's Strictly, and it was difficult to take her seriously.

Normally she dresses smartly, but what was the point of yesterday's outfit, in very obviously Tory blue?

I think they were making the point that they are Tories but the party is changing for the worse.

I can only look at Anna and think of her as the reporter she once was on Central News or something.

Women politicians and fashion are two opposites, like black and white, most seem to go in for skirts a bit too short, jackets a bit to tight and trousers that remind me of that Ogden Nash poem:
