Tony Blackburn back with BBC

I too am pleased that Tony Blackburn is back where he belongs at the BBC. I think he was wrongly sacked for sticking to his principles and not being prepared to change his memories of what happened many years ago.

I think his corniness is one of his charms - no bad language, silly jokes and easy listening. ?

Me too, always liked listening to him. Very pleased he will be back, should never have been sacked imo. Did the BBC actually take note of the reaction for once?

I read this yesterday too seacliff thank goodness for that. The BBC have treat him very badly and tried to blacken his good name. I wish he would come back and do the Saturday afternoon pick of the pops show. I used to really enjoy it when TB did it although I think he's going yo do a late Friday show to start with.

Unlike the BBC to use common sense.
