Shock horror story in this rag about size of benefits bill - uses word 'handouts' - nowhere in article does it say that 56% if this goes in pensions! And whilst I'm ranting I am fed up of the idea that tax payer = income tax payer- so no one on benefits pays VAT, excise duty, etc etc - rant, rant - no wonder there's so much antipathy towards benefit recipients when even what is supposed to be a quality ( haha) paper promotes such rubbish
