She's right, Barbara Ellen in the Guardian, men cannot physically have post-natal depression because they haven't done the natal bit! The article is quite funny. The study is a mockery of the scientific method (sample size 38), like so many so-called studies nowadays. Well writ, Barbara!

Yes quite. Some of them suffer from a severe attack of nose out of joint, sulking because they aren't having sex and being required to do extra housework! smile
I once read that the peak time for husbands to "stray' is when their first child had been born. hmm
And there are lots of lovely men that do their absolute best and find it difficult to adjust.
But neither of these should be called post natal depression.

You might have a small sample if you were using the qualitative method rather than the quantitative.

Anyway, try and be a bit more sympathetic. These men have lost exclusive rights to mummy and need time to adjust smile

If they want the lable PND could it stand for something else - say 'Please Notice Daddy'
