I've had a phone call this morning from the dental surgery reminding me of my appointment tomorrow morning and asking for my card details over the phone. I do understand all about the social distancing etc but the dental surgery has a card reader and my card is contactless. In a visit to the dentist last week they accepted a contactless payment, I need to go back tomorrow for treatment but they want the payment today over the phone! I'm a little annoyed if I'm honest, I have NEVER given my card details over the phone and do not intend to do so now! Has anyone else had a similar experience and what did you do?
