Ozzi Gear camping chairs

Another online advert I am always coming across is for Ozzi Gear Camping chairs.

Our chairs are big and heavy and they and the carry bags have seen better days. I think they were around £14.99 from Millets.
We use them a lot for the beach, barbecues and watching the DGC at sports etc.

The Ozzi chairs are light and fold down to the size of a large drink bottle,so can go in a carrier bag. The ad shows elderly people sitting and standing comfortably.
The catch is that they are £85 each.
I have read that they have a lifetime guarantee in that they will be replaced free of charge if they break.

Has anyone bought one of these?
I am always wary of excellent online reviews as they are often too good to be true.

We don't have them but did look at them.
The trouble for me is that they don't feel so stable as they have "pokey" legs which can sink into soft earth or sand. My daughter has one but we decided to go for a more traditional shape with arms to help us get up.
I had a hip operation and they have been terrific.
They are, of course a totally different shape.

I will see if I can find the name and come back.

It was a Lafuma chair.

In fact we bought one and then bought two more - one is a basic one, one is wider and one is a "relaxer" type.

I noticed that on the beach all my adult children seemed to use them if they were free!

They were at the cheaper end of thechairs from this company. Lightweight (2.3kg for the lightest) and with a clip-on carry strap - all went over a shoulder easily.

We bought ours at the end of season from here:
