Just had a proper roof put on the conservatory. Lots of adverts for this in the papers. It's made such a difference. Would recommend. No longer have to worry about cold,hot, noise, moss or that nasty green algei.

My friends in Germany have got a conservatory, but they call it their
Winter Garden which I think is a great name for it.

I think you might be confusing conservatories with conservatoires. All music and drama with potted plants decoratively placed, and not a sun lounger in sight.
