Elora cream for sweat rash.

Has anyone tried the Elora cream that I am always seeing advertised on social media?

I use Daktacort, as suggested by my GP, when I get a sweat rash under my breasts in hot weather. The pharmacist says not to use it too much as it contains hydrocortisone.

I don't want to buy an expensive cream if it doesn't work and we all know that the glowing reviews on the ads are not to be believed.

I just use body butter, cheap and does the job!

Which brand Cossy?

I'm following this with interest, because I'm really tempted to try it too. Tried lots of things from Daktacort to Sudocrem and various others, without much success.

Viceversa, the ads look too good to be true don't they?

Yes, I’ve been inundated with the ads for it. I use Boots medicated powder.

I use Cuticura powder as a preventative and "touch wood" have not suffered in this latest heatwave. Still would be interested if anyone has actually tried it.

I know, that's why I've held off from ordering some. I'm always sceptical about those ads, so I'd love to actually hear from someone who has tried it.

In desperation I’ve started using my son’s Daktarin foot spray- on what I think is a sweat rash on the backs of my knees. It ( antifungal dry powdery spray) seems to have helped! I’ve not tried the advertised cream.

I can never wash sudacrem out of my nails but I do think it works

Dry the area carefully with your hairdryer on COOL after washing and while I know there are said to be risks associated with talc, I find just a little helps.

Aldom Thu 25-Jun-26 13:39:10

Anti fungal talc works extremely well.
I've used it for years.

Thinking I would never get taken in by Instagram adverts, I have ordered and just received some underwear.
Obviously shipped from China when they inferred they were uk made, also very tiny and bad quality.
I did some research and the reviews were mixed.
I can’t even get any information from google on Elora cream.
Would advise that you try alternatives. Wish I had not ordered my product either 😩

I just use a folded ,clean men’s hanky, tucked under my bra.

That's why I was hoping to find someone who had actually tried it for themselves, YorkLady. I'm not one to be taken in by online ads without doing a bit of research for myself.

That's exactly why I asked the question.

Doesn't seem that anyone on Gransnet has taken the plunge....probably best to avoid.

Sudocrem, carn't beat it. I have always used it for sweat rash.

I haven’t tried Elora cream but I do use Snake Brand cooling talc which works very well for sweat rash and prickly heat. It also helped recently when I got a lot of mosquito bites, relieving the itching quite a bit. I buy it on Amazon

I gave in and bought Clairon after seeing the adverts and the packaging looks exactly the same, and like you I was skeptical but willing to try anything
However during this hot weather and before it has worked wonders. I used it for about 5 days straight and since then no rash, itching sweatiness under my boobs. It's a bit of a faff after taking a shower to gently dry the areas and apply the cream and wait 1 minute for it to dry, good job no one has seen me sat on the bed holding my boobs up in the air to dry the area but once dry that's it, although I think you can reapply it if needed during the day
So for me I am very happy with it, no sweaty boobs. no itching from bras, no red rash that gets sore and no feeling like I need to shower or wash during the day due to sweating.

1% hydocortisone cream. Get it anywhere

Lupatria Sun 28-Jun-26 14:22:25

i use clotrimazole - have done for years. when the "sting" occurs a quick application or two gets rid of the problem.
i am a quite well endowed older lady and gravity seems to have got the better of my boobs so I lie down after application.
i've also got a big tummy (my overhang!) so i also lie down to apply the cream.

Narnia Sun 28-Jun-26 14:24:44

Ive found that most creams don't help as it remains "wet"
Sudocrem is ok
I've just been prescribed intraconazole tablets and they have helped, no rash in this awful heat
