Good news for our daughters and granddaughters

I assume it is testing regularly that has made this possible.
Testing men regularly for prostate cancer must come next.

It is the vaccine that is given to teenagers both male and female that has brought about this excellent result.

MY GSs called it the sex vaccination!

Mine has had it too. My mother and my sister have both had cervical cancer, so it's one think my daughter will hopefully not have to worry about.

I will tell 2 of my granddaughters who both had this injection recently that all the abject torture of a small jab with a needle was worth all the agony they suffered.

Your GD have many more such joys to come as part of the wonderful experience of being a woman!

I don’t know why the news said the jab was started in 2000-odd. My daughters had it at school in the 1980s.

I’ve had a letter saying clear & no evidence of that virus.
But now I am over age I dont need to have any more smears.
Can I still request one?
Is it rare to get cancer of the cervix after the age of 60?
