Hip replacements between 2009-17 causing problems

Flexible hip replacements fitted during 2009-17 contained cobalt which apparently leaked into the bloodstream causing memory loss, depression, tiredness and other nasty side effects to lots of people.

Some of these are still being fitted but not many.

Report is in Daily Mail. OK sneer if you like but take a look if you may be affected.

My late MIL had terrible trouble with her hip replacement. She was told years later that the type she had was no longer used. Made her final years difficult.
