For the last week I’ve had a strange sensation in my groin something like a phone buzzing. No pain. Have googled it and it seems others experience it too but there is no definite reason. Would feel very embarrassed speaking to dr about it especially as I d have to get past the receptionist first. Has anyone else had this?

I have had it occasionally in my legs And just as you describe like buzzing but no pain…?

As for the receptionist just say to her you only wish to discuss it with the doctor they cannot force you to tell them

I suggest you book an appt with a female doctor and say to the receptionist it is a gynae problem. No need to feel embarrassed. GPs have heard and seen it all before. Let us know how you get on Ellie.
