Cataract complications

I know many people who have had cataracts removed but none who has had any problems except me.
My new lens dislocated very soon after the op 6 weeks ago and I haven’t seen clearly since. I also have lights, reflections and double vision all the time.
My surgeon is reluctant to operate again so I’m waiting to see if glasses can help. I only have sight in this one eye.
Among all Gransnet’s old eyes, has anyone else experienced this?

Poor you Watermeadow, that sounds so worrying, it must be utterly miserable for you. Surely you shouldn't have to put up with what you have been left with, if your surgeon won't operate, would a second opinion from Moorfields help?

Watermeadow - I had complications following my cataract surgery at Moorfields but they didn't emerge as soon as yours.
My artificial lens had to be removed and replaced. I was extremely lucky that it was possible to replace it and perhaps this could also be done in your case.
