HRT - good stories

Hi, Could I please hear some positive stories re HRT ? I ha e recently started Evorel sequi and am praying it will give me back my old self to some degree instead of the anxious old aching woman I’ve become . I’m 51 and decided that my quality of life was so poor that I would go for it . I know all of the scare stories / risks etc but would love to hear some positives, if there are any !

I was on patches and tablets for ten years to help with anxiety. It helped a lot and I had then and have now no side effects!
I hope this helps.
(It was too long ago to remember what I was on - sorry)

I have been on it for over 30 years. No side effects, no weight gain or aches and pains and my bones are as strong as they have ever been.

Yep Skirty it’s a positive story from me! Started five years ago at the age of 64 following 12 years of shear hell. I have got my life back now and wish I had started a lot earlier but we can’t turn back the clock! I’m on an oestrogen only patch as had a hysterectomy. Doesn’t solve all my problems but it has certainly given me back my life. Had a major operation three years ago and I asked the consultant if he wanted me to remove the patch before the op. His words were ‘I would never part a patient from their patch, my wife would kill me’!
