Eczema and sun allergy

Hi I am looking for advice, I have eczema on my hands only started a couple of years ago, I’m in my 60s, have the cream from doctor which is steroids, but he said not to use too much. Any advice on a more natural cream that will help, also I get a rash on my body now if exposed to the sun it is really annoying and itchy as spoils the summer, I went to the doctor and he just said cover up which I try to do but would love to wear more summery clothes how can I stop the rash ,sun cream doesn’t make any difference.
