Salivary duct stones

I had this a little while ago, had never had it before so didn’t know what was causing the pain. Doctor confirmed a stone in the salivary gland and tecommended sucking lemon drops to produce saliva to hopefully wash the stone out. He also said gently massaging the area would help. It did clear up after a couple of days,not suffered since but it was very painful while it lasted so you have my sympathy and hope the lemon drops help.

My dad had this as a young man when I was small and I remember him going into hospital for surgery I m surethere’s different ways of dealing with it today though
