Had a cataract op today - I was absolutely dreading it, but it wasn’t too bad in the end. Endless eye drops beforehand, as apparently I have “difficult pupils” that don’t dilate very well - who knew?! The surgery is slightly uncomfortable and a strange sensation, but not painful. Not dreading having the other eye done as much now! So, reassurance to anyone who is due to have the procedure.

How good to know from someone whom has had the deed done so recently and speaking with praise right afterwards,indeed you will not only greet the second operation with only reasonable thoughts, you will have helped the many of us still waiting in the queue.
