See also the thread titled 'B12'.
I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia about 12 years ago and started on the 3 monthly injections of B12 (Cobalamin?). About 3 years ago I started suffering from chronic indigestion and after investigation it was found to be Atrophic Gastritis and I was prescribed Omeprazole which I take daily. It won't get better but can be controlled although 'flair-ups' do still occur. I have tried to find out as much as possible about diet etc but wonder if anyone else out there suffers from this and we could share dietary tips/experiences. There seems to be so much info for Type 2 diabetes but very liitle for AG. My Consultant says it's just trial and error with diet but sometimes it's quite a painful error.

So sorry to hear you are suffering with this - how very difficult it is to have a problem where the treatment is not clear or consistent. I hope there will be someone on here who knows about it. Good luck with it all.
