New meningitis b vaccine

My 7 week old GD is having this jab tomorrow. DD is a little anxious as it s new. Does anyone have a grand child who has had this, and did the baby have much of a reaction. DD has been advised to give calpol straight afterwards and then again after 4 hours to avoid a temperature developing.

It may be new, maryrose, but it will have been through clinical trials. Better a possible bit of reaction to a vaccine than getting meningitis. A couple of doses of Calpol isn't going to do any harm so I wouldn't worry if I were your DD.
