It's not too late at all for daffodils and tulips are best planted end of October beginning of November.
Enjoy the spring 🌼🌱

Think they'll be fine, you're only 3 weeks late, not much in a 12 month cycle.

I didn't plant my tulips til a mild december day one year, 9forgot them) & they were fine, just flowered mid-late may which is late round here.

Your daffodils will be fine, tulips really shouldn't go in until November and can easily wait until even later.

We forgot some once when we were moving house and didn't plant them until January, and they still came up smiling.

Think I read once that if you plant them early they establish a better root system and they have a longer flowering time in the first year But no difference the following years

Just read your last post. If previous owner was keen gardener be careful where you are digging

This year my order arrived later than usual from the nursery. I think it was something to do with the weather? So the daffs have been planted later than usual
