Patty Pan squashes.

I grew the yellow ones for the first time this year from a free packet of seed that came with something else I ordered.

They were rampant in July ti the extent that Id given them to everyone I could think of and resorted to putting them in the compost!

Then August just the odd one or two, no flowers and I decided they'd finished. Luckily I didn’t pull them up because they're off again with lots of babies.

I think it just got too hot and dry. Hopefully yours will have a second grow as well.🙂

Sorry, of course I meant only male flowers! Senior moment!

It is due to weather conditions. Try cutting off all the male flowers and giving it a feed - like liquid 'Gro-more' or 'chicken manure pellets' soaked in water and it should make new growth. My courgettes had hardy produced anything but a couple of weeks ago I gave them a liquid feed and they've made lots of new growth with both male and female flowers.

Thanks kiberal10, I will try liquid Growmore. I have read that the male flowers come a little later than the female, so there is still hope.

We cut down at an angle at the top which makes a sort of lid. Then stuff will cooked lentils or mince and mushrooms or what ever then put the lid back on and cover with foil and bake. YUM!

I grew those years ago had forgotten all about them. If I remember correctly they were really good and very prolific
