Has anyone grown their own special fruit or veg ?

I have a large strawberries patch but this one caught my eye as it’s very special I m going to eat it tonight I ll tell you if it tastes as good as I hope

It is so annoying, we are off for a week tomorrow and I can tell I’m going to miss peak strawberry. I hope they are still edible when I get back.

DH grows globe artichokes for us. The plants are very architectural and look lovely in the borders, an added bonus!

Looks good there is nothing nicer than English or Scottish fruit. I have black berries black currants (they smell gorgeous). Gooseberries raspberries and tiny wild strawberries apples and rhubarb.
