I have emptied my pots containing bulbs which are over, because if left they always get eaten. The large bulbs I shall just store dry, but what do I do with the tiny pea-sized bulblets? My instinct is to cover or plant them in clean soil/compost and keep in my mini greenhouse. I assume they will take years before producing flowers. Any advice would be welcome please.

DH recommends keeping the tiny ones in a pot in peat. He plants them in a pot with the leaves and stems on and keeps them until September. See photo. Then he tips them into a tray and sorts out the good ones discarding any that have rotted. Cleans them and stores them in a dry place as you do with the big bulbs. He replants his in the middle of November. He always has success with them. Our neighbour loves them as he plants up his left overs for her.
