Electric omelette maker

Smoked salmon
Asparagus (pre-cooked)
Beansprouts, sliced spring onions and cherry tomatoes
Streaky bacon

Cold potato cubes, spinach and cheese.
Fruit, serve with crème fraiche.
Sweet potato, peas and onion with curry spices.

I can’t understands why you would want to. It takes minutes to make a perfectly cooked, fluffy omelette with any filling you choose with just a small pan on a hob. You presumably have to find somewhere to store an electric one when it’s not in use?

With all due respect, the OP didn't ask for opinions about omelette makers - she's already bought one. She was simply looking for filling ideas.

My omelette would sink a battleship, they never turn out fluffy !

I do enjoy them heavy or not !

Try adding a couple of teaspoons of water when you whisk the eggs. The steam helps to make them lighter.

Which omelette maker did you buy? Mine are so hit and miss when I make them.

I bought the Salter 2 pan. It really doesn't take up much room. I always add water to the eggs when whisking. I am perfectly capable of making an omelette in a pan but prefer mine to be deep and set without being folded over which is why I used the grill to set the top.

I make a large 5 egg one for me and dh, in a big sauté pan, with onion and cubed boiled potatoes (fried lightly before adding eggs) plus mushrooms and peppers.
I don’t fold it, just cut in half. It goes under the grill to finish off - I can’t bear runny uncooked egg, unless it’s the yolk in a boiled or fried egg - with no slimy uncooked white.
