Does anyone remember those lovely scotch eggs but cheese was used in the place of sausage. They were the bees kneees! Recipe anyone . I’ve not seen them since the 1970’s

Oh goodness you are young jelly4toes my school dinners were in the fifties and very early sixties.
Sorry don't remember those scotch eggs, I was talking to a friend the other day and we said no self respecting picnic was complete without a scotch egg and a slice of pork pie. I love both.

I don't remember the scotch eggs but have happy memories of a sort of cornflake and treacle tart with custard.
