Phyllida Law has died

Phyllida Law has died aged 94. She was a brilliant actor. Mother of Emma Thompson and Sophie and widow of Eric Thompson ( The Magic Roundabout).

I especially loved Phyllida and Emma playing a fictional mother and daughter in The Winter Guest (dir Alan Rickman).

I met Phyllida Law once. She was an absolute delight, very down to earth, and also she introduced me to Alan Rickman, who was nearby. For that alone, I am in her debt. ❤️
