Not me, I have no enthusiasm for it at all. Yes, I've bought turkey and have a tree and decorated the house but I find doing that a chore these days.
Enjoyed it more when the children were young.

Do you think it will be a white Christmas? I don’t ever remember having a white Christmas.

I am too clapped out to feel any excitement. This time last week I was quite a excited. Today I have decorated the tree and put room decs up. And hoovered up dropped needles.

I can remember a (very) white Boxing Day. Early sixties.

My acid reflux is bad at the moment, which rather takes the edge off of things.

'Excited' is not a word I'd use about Christmas. I look forward to it of course because it's always nice to have the family together. I miss the older relatives I used to visit or have to visit me, but now I am the 'older relative', the granny in the corner, hoping not to be asked to play charades or Twister; and dreading the indigestion that follows a rich meal!

I do get a buzz from it's oncoming. Nothing to do with family. (That's just work Think it's a throwback to the magic of childhood Christmases.

Although our Christmases were very simple there was a warmth which doesn't leave you.

What are you excited about? Why do we either have to be frothing at the mouth or Scrooge? Can't we just be mildly disinterested?

Well, I've just explained why I get a bit excited.

Mildly uninterested would be a shame.

I’m a bit excited glam.
My 2 DD’s and their DH’s and our 2DGC are coming to stay & it will be the first Christmas for 3 years that we have all been together.
They will all help so it won’t be a chore.
But we will miss DS & his family who live in the US.
