Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in Brackley today.
Today I have a Wiltshire Farms ready meals delivery , so any movement will be done on when they arrive.
Some housework to do as well .
Health OK,
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from an overcast Bristol. Some rain is forecast, but…?
Yesterday was quiet apart from the baptism in church. I made some marmalade to stock up.
The quilt is suddenly almost finished, the blocks are all made, just lining and interlining to do. I have no idea what I’ll do with it once finished. Charity shop?
Today is a bit uncertain as my neighbour’s friend isn’t sure she’ll be ok to go to Tesco. Everything depends on hope all the unwell are getting treated/sorted out/improving.

Good morning from Malta where another sunny day is dawning with a high of 38°C.

I spent the morning getting a lot of cleaning done yesterday plus a load of laundry out on the line.

The boys arrived late afternoon and were very good . I bathed them and they watched the start of Alcaraz’s match then went off to bed like angels and I watched the rest of the match then went to bed myself.

DGS1 cried out for a drink at around 1am but apart from that they’ve been quiet and are still asleep.

I’ve got them until 5pm so not sure what we will do all day. Still too hot for the park.

Wishing you all a good day.☀️

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 14° and looks damp in the streetlight. Yesterday I made it to Aldi then stripped the bed and got loads of washing done. I rested in between doing anything and ate very carefully. The pain has subsided but I know it's still lurking. Hopefully it won't be too long before I go for a scan.
Today is early childcare day and I have the boys all day because it's a local holiday. Dgs1 has a football camp so I will drop him off. Depending on how I feel, I might take dgs2 to soft play. Then I will pick up dgs1 and bring him back to my house for a couple of hours before taking him to football training. His mum will meet me there and pick up dgs2 from me. Then home to collapse! Have a good day all.

I hope Madeleine rests after her hospital visit yesterday.

Good morning from N Surrey. I think it is dry but still dark. A very pretty new moon is shining in the Eastern sky. Well it was about an hour ago when I made a mug of tea.
I also hope madeleine will have a rest for the next few days and that her leg improves.

This morning I will have a new washing machine delivered and fitted. Fingers crossed it will be a smooth exercise and no problems. I have a mountain of washing to do. The weather looks dry and sunny this week so that will help enormously.

I also have a mountain of paperwork to get on with following DHs death almost 4 weeks ago. How can it be 4 weeks. So sadly missed.

A cup of coffee calls now and I expect when I open the curtains it will be light now and maybe sunny already.
I wish us all a good day.

Good morning from s somerset, cool and drizzling just now

*Grandmabatty I am hoping you get your scan appointment very soon

A longer cycle ride yesterday morning and I got to the top of the very steep lane past the windmill, puffing and panting like a steam train. At the back of my mind I am wondering if that was the last time, I hope not but time and tide won`t wait for me. My 18 year old bike is a pedelec, ie pushes me when it senses that I struggle and it works at the maximum up that hill and so do I. I will keep a better eye on my weight, losing a bit more will help

The big load of washing dried well yesterday and that is all put away. Then I sat down after lunch and was gone, napped for an hour and woke feeling like a zombie. Watched a play on youtube, two lonely people in a spa, I cannot remember the title but it was good classic telly again

I decided to get another ocado smart pass, so I did and they brought me a delivery a few hours later. I saw a programme on hoarding and that sent me to the kitchen to look for ood tins etc, fortunately only one and that was a few years ood, salmon, red as well but it has gone out now

I made juice from carrots, celery and a lemon and can at last see clear space in my fridge drawer. I want an empty drawer so I can clean the fridge properly which would be a good start into autumn

I finished the first Maddison top, I never want to be without those, they are a bit warmer than t shirts, that was my 8th since I perfected the pattern.

Today, only two things, an allotment visit then craft group with friends.

Good morning, it’s dry and cloudy here in south Glos, definitely darker in the mornings as autumn draws in.
I made a big pot of ratatouille yesterday, I’ll freeze some and will enjoy having it with crusty bread or rice.
I cleaned the fridge, used the last of the veg box for dinner with chicken escalopes - there’s some new potatoes that need using up today.
I need to pay a cheque into the bank this morning, so a trip into town. Not my favourite drive as parking can be a pain but I’ll go early. Then I have a nurse appointment at midday for a big blood test (8 vials!) before a phone consultation with a haematologist on Friday.
Apparently my clotting times are causing concern…..🙄 I have no idea whether they’re too long or what!
I need to finish planting the bits I bought on Saturday and start tidying the back garden now it’s cooler. I deadheaded the roses yesterday.
I’ll pop into Lidl on my way back from town for a few bits, I need milk and some vegetables. I’m out of tinned tomatoes and passata.
Best wishes to everyone 🌹

Good morning from a rather dull looking Torbay. I struggled to sleep because it was so warm overnight.

Today I need to go and book seats for a rail trip we are planning on Thursday by which time DH will be here. DGS3 is in a play in Rugeley so we will just go up for one night to see his opening performance.

Later this morning it’s my exercise class being taken by the teacher’s daughter as she herself is having a cataract operation. The daughter is lovely but doesn’t quite realise the pace with which we can cope!

Wishing you all a good day!
